Real Lincolnshire gardens we've sorted, shot on the day. Grab the handle and drag it across to see the difference for yourself.

This Birchwood back lawn had turned more moss than grass over a wet winter, bright green and spongy right up to the sandstone patio. We treated and raked out the moss, then brought the grass back and cut it into clean stripes, with the same patio and fence framing it.

A front lawn left long enough to go to seed, waist-high grass full of buttercups and dandelion clocks in front of a Lincoln terrace. We took it down in stages for a proper first cut, cleared the clippings, and handed back a level, walkable lawn with the boundary hedge still neat behind.

A long, narrow back garden boxed in by close-board fencing, the grass tussocky and the edges lost under weeds. We mowed the whole strip down, cut the edges back to the fence line and cleared the gravel border along one side, opening the run of lawn back up to the shed at the end.

An older paved garden with a decorative pierced-screen wall and timber raised beds, its slabs disappearing under weeds pushing through every joint. We cleared the growth out of the paving, tidied around the beds and the bench, and brought the whole patio back to a flat, usable surface again.

A gravel garden with metal heron sculptures set around a small pond, the borders and the birds themselves smothered under white-flowered bindweed. We worked the bindweed off the sculptures and out of the surrounding beds and gravel, so the planting, the pond and the ironwork could be seen properly again.

An end-of-tenancy tidy on a small garden behind a conservatory, with weeds through the patio joints, a patchy sun-scorched lawn and broken timber boards left on the grass. We cleared the timber and rubbish, weeded out the paving and cut the lawn back, leaving it clean and ready to hand over.

A narrow back garden between a red-stained fence and a grey one, the grass grown knee-high and hiding the gravel path down the middle. We cut the whole lot back to a proper lawn, uncovered the path again and cleared the edges, with the shed at the far end back in view.

A paved rear yard on a Lincoln terrace where broad-leaved weeds had taken over the side beds and were pushing up through the concrete joints. We cleared the beds back to bare soil and weeded out the paving, leaving a clean, open yard with the path and drain cover clear again.

A winter clearance on a Lincolnshire back garden where the grass had grown long and tussocky and litter had blown in across the plot. We cut the whole lawn back down, cleared the rubbish and tidied the ivy-covered boundary, leaving a flat, open garden ready for the growing season.

A narrow side passage behind a wrought-iron gate, blocked with brambles, weeds and dead canes growing up between the fence and the house wall. We cleared the whole run out, right down to the concrete path, so the passage down the side of the property could be walked and used again.
Every job gets a before and after, so this keeps growing as we go.
